The vineyard

The vineyard covered 14 hectares, but this year we have uprooted 4 hectares which will be replanted in the years to come.

Currently the vineyard, still classified organic, covers 10 ha including 8.5 ha in red grape varieties: merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, malbec et 1.5 ha en cépages blanc : sauvignon blanc and gris and muscadelle. 

The vines are between 20 and 45 years old, they are planted at a distance of 3.5 m and 2 m.

The terroir is the genetic heritage of wines, ours is very varied ranging from clay-limestone to silty clay and limestone with flint.

The soil takes on such importance that very fine variations, even between two neighboring plots, result in great differences in quality and typicity of the wine.

The work in the vineyards and the cellar is orchestrated and carefully followed by our cellar master Luc Bonnamy, Lulu for friends, very well known in the region. He has 15 years of experience in organic wines.

Dry white wine

Grape varieties : 45% sauvignon blanc, 45% sauvignon gris, 10% muscadelle

Nature : With a bright pale gold hue, this expressive vintage reveals itself with great aromatic elegance with floral notes, stone fruit like vine peach and carried by a citrus freshness. The mouth is round, delicious, with a nice balance to finish with slightly salty flavors.

Conservation : To discover today and up to 5 years.

Tasting :     serve between 8 and 10 °. As an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood dishes, a chicken tagine, a zucchini gratin.

Pearl of Rosé

Grape varieties : 55% cabernet franc, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot

Nature : : A rosé that assumes itself, with a fairly sustained, brilliant raspberry color. The nose is fresh, airy, with aromas of small red fruits, blackcurrant, currant. The mouth offers a nice chew balanced by a refreshing acidity. A pretty table rosy, salivating.

Conservation : 1 to 2 years

Tasting :  serve between 8 and 10 degrees. Ideal as an aperitif, on a minestrone, samosas or a risotto with salmon

Les gardiens du chai

Grape varieties : 80% Merlot and 20% Malbec

Nature : : With a bright red hue with a purple reflection, this wine with a fresh fruit nose has a digestible mouth, round in attack, delicate with a discreet structure, finesse and presenting a nice balance. The red fruits signify the aromatic finish.

Conservation : To be discovered today with a 5-year aging potential.

Tasting :   serve between 16 and 18 °. Goes wonderfully with your aperitifs, all your daily dishes, your friends meals.

Entre Deux Bois

Grape varieties : 50% merlot and 50% cabernet franc

Nature : : The dress is a beautiful, deep purple. The aroma is precise, complex, at the same time mature with these accents of cherry, ripe and refreshing with its light menthol. The palate imposes itself by a contained power which makes no concession to the elegance of the tannin, to the balance. The finish is very long, persistent.

Conservation : Up to 5 to 8 years old.

Tasting : serve between 16 and 18 °. To appreciate it today, take the time to decant it 1 hour before tasting it. Goes well with red meat and game dishes, and Périgord cuisine.

Sans sulfites

Grape varieties : 80% Merlot and 20% Malbec

Nature : This cuvée without sulfur, without artifice, is adorned with an intense garnet color. The aromatic palette is complex with floral, red fruit and spice notes. The mouth is balanced, supple, with a delicate texture and carried by a structure combining character and sweetness. Fruits and spices offer a subtle finish.

Conservation : To discover today and up to 2-3 years, but it is the wine that will decide.

Dégustation :  serve between 16 and 18 °. Goes well with braised meat, duck breast, soft cheese like a Saint Nectaire.


The winery

The winery is equipped with 8 thermo-adjustable stainless steel vinification tanks, stainless steel and fiber wine guards as well as concrete tanks. Adjoining the cellar is the insulated and air-conditioned barrel cellar where stored wines already bottled at a temperature between 10 and 18 degrees and a humidity level of 75 to 80%. For next season we plan to expand, modernize and further isolate the operating buildings.
